For anyone like myself, that never tires of looking
at Phantom pics I have put together a collection of some more Phantom pictures
The pictures tell the story of the Phantom of the Opera
from beginning to end of the show :-)
each picture has a quote to give those who haven't seen it an insight into this magnificant masterpiece
And as I have said before nothing will ever compare to seeing it live, only then can you capture the true emotions, those that have seen it will enjoy reliving the moments once again.
For those that haven't I hope this slide show inspires you to go see it :-)
So sit back relax and enjoy the show...........( grab the popcorn if you like :-)
You just press play and the pictures will run in order, or you can press stop, then press next to view the pictures manually.
If the pictures take a while to load ( which they shouldn't ), just let it run through and view it a second time.
I assure you my good friends it will be well worth it :)
Just imagine, You've been sitting in your seat for what seems an eternity. Taking in the eerie set of the Opera Populaire while clutching on to your ticket stub like it was a prized possesion. You keep glancing over into the orchestra pit, trying to view the violin player's practising fingers, as he prepares to stir you from your unbelieving slumber, into the world which you've been longing to be part of since you first heard that magical music, that music that took your mind on a journey of unending phantisies. Suddenly the orchestra begins to tune. You hear the violinist cautiously fiddle out the opening notes of *The Music Of The Night* in a vain attempt of one last rehearsal before the flood lights are on, and the show has begun. After all, this is THE night, the night that will unknowningly change your life forever, and you're at your first performance of *The Phantom of the Opera*.
As suddenly as the orchestra starts to play, it stops -your heart stops with it, you hold your breath, as the stage goes to black, and you've barely adjusted to the darkness before the Auctioneer bangs his mallet, and the show has begun. At last that line you've been waiting for- forrrr so long.
Abruptly, an explosion of stage effects erupt centre stage and the organ keyboard lifts your soul higher and higher as the enormous chanderlier disappears over your head.
and as the music plays, your heart and soul rises with the chanderlier, to become one, you are about to pass that point... the point of no return... and to be forever captured, in the Music of the Night...
Now it's time... To open up your mind
and let your fantasies unwind...
